Smoking Hot App – Web Development Project Estimator by Astuteo

I was reading on Matt Everson’s Site, Astuteo, who is a web designer by trade that he developed a Web Development Project Estimator with the help of Todd Lekan, a web developer from Wisconsin. Together the two of them put together a costing tool that is feel to use and I think is useful for most web design professionals out there today and allows the web designer or developer the option to create a PDF version when they are finished. The application also allows you to edit, delete and add new tasks that are initially presented in the list of tasks so if you want to change, add or delete any task it is completely doable and even comes with the option to save a copy similar to a draft if you are working on something else and you need to come back to it. The only thing that I found a little misleading about the application is the option to save as a PDF after you click the “View Estimate” button on the lower right hand side. What this does is it creates an estimate in a “print-ready” format. It will NOT create a PDF unless you save it as a PDF. Regardless, this smoking hot little app is well worth checking out. Thanks go to Matt Everson and Todd Lekan for designing and developing this application!
